Traffic calming
The response of drivers to the recent 20mph speed limits within the parish has been disappointing. Drivers regularly enter and exit the village at speeds well in excess of the speed limit. As a consequence, the councillors have decided to continue exploring what additional measures can be taken to discourage speeding. Recently they met with OCC Highways and discussed options. Here are mock-ups of what is being considered by South Leigh and met our councillors approval. The parish council are interested in your thoughts.
